Whereas on the chair, you can’t really sit crosslegged or in a kneeling position; which can cause your pelvic muscles to get lazy!

How To Sit on the Floor Correctly

You can get additional support from the outside of your palms by gently pressing down, against your thighs – it will do wonders for your spine! If you need to lean forward, do so from your hips rather than rounding your back. Bring your awareness to your pelvic bowl and imagine a mountain supporting you. Extend your spine starting from your lower back by simply extending the sacrum (little triangle on top of the butt crack) and moving your way up towards the neck.

Your spine will always follow your eyes and keep an image of looking up at the sky every time you notice your spine collapsing.
